A Nice Stay, Kindness and Comfort
excellent food great kindness
The food was excellent. The room was comfortable. The staff showed great kindness. I stayed unexpectedly because a relative was in hospital. The staff accommodated my needs. They even allowed me to stay past checkout while I waited for a call.
The Wi-Fi did not extend to my room, located outside the main building. This impacted my ability to work effectively . I hope they improve Wi-Fi coverage to reach all rooms.

a romantic getaway
attentive staff wide variety cozy table lovely service
i have visited this hotel for years and each time my expectations are exceeded the staff are attentive and friendly. the service was lovely and the staff were motivated the cozy ambiance was the perfect setting for a nice evening
the location was a little noisy due to road traffic though it did not greatly impact my experience

free parking is available and i found it very convenient it removed any stress associated with finding a parking space nearby the check-in process was efficient and friendly making arrival smooth. the hotel provides tea and coffee making facilities in each room adding a touch of home.

the beautiful double room was very clean and spacious the comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep basic toiletries were provided and i found the tea and coffee making facilities a welcome touch. an electric heater was available which allowed me to adjust the temperature to my liking.

breakfast was amazing with a good selection i especially enjoyed the full english i found the pub food excellent and the restaurant had a cozy inviting atmosphere. top quality ingredients were used and everything was cooked and presented with care.

the pub was very beautiful. the rooms were just right for my needs. i found the staff quite helpful . the food portions were generous (i especially enjoyed the specials).
the stairs were a bit steep, it should be mentioned on the website, especially with mobility issues.

the pub offered excellent food options with a specials board in addition to the standard menu. breakfast was superb, with a broad choice available each morning. gluten-free options were available as well.

the location was quiet, and the bus stop was just across the road from the building. this made transportation to both the city and the hospital very easy. it's located in a nice village.

wonderful getaway!
safe parking warm welcome good breakfast
the staff offered a warm welcome. i loved the free and safe parking available, so convenient! breakfast was very good too. it definitely made mornings easier and more enjoyable.
The stairs were a bit steep. It's worth knowing, especially if you have mobility concerns.

stale smoke spotty internet
I have visited this hotel several times, but this last visit left something to be desired. The room assigned to me had a strange smell, almost like stale smoke. The ventilation seemed inadequate, as the odor lingered even after I opened the windows. the promised high-speed internet was spotty at best. I struggled to maintain a stable connection throughout my stay. It really put a damper on my plans.
